Still Architects is led by Peter Kitchen, a Canadian Architect and designer based in Amsterdam
Prior to founding Still Architects, I spent over 10 years executing projects at leading firms in Toronto, New York City and London. My work ranged from custom family homes and hotels to multi-family housing developments and adaptive reuse projects. While no two projects were the same they were all linked through concept design, attention to detail and material expression.
My role is to guide clients through a creative design process to create homes that feel personal and considered. For international clients and expats navigating Dutch regulations and construction culture for the first time, I offer the added value of cross-cultural fluency — I've worked in Toronto, New York, London and Amsterdam, and I understand what it takes to deliver quality on both sides of the process.
I hold a B.Arch from the University of Waterloo and a M.Arch from the University of Toronto. I am licensed with the Ontario Association of Architects in Canada and registered with the Architectenregister in The Netherlands.
